Karmel Timmons
Karmel has always been drawn to art, starting with a box of crayons and a blank sheet of paper as a child. After moving to rural Colorado as a young adult, she began drawing the landscapes and animals around her, focusing on horses and cattle. With almost 30 years in Colorado, Karmel is ready for a change of scenery and inspiration, seeking a new country setting in Wyoming with views of the Big Horn mountains and high plains. Karmel's artistic abilities combine her love for equine subjects with her skill in capturing detail, texture, and mood in pencil. She has been a professional artist for over 20 years and has exhibited her work at several prestigious shows, including the Coors Western Art Show, Buffalo Bill Western Art Show, Cowgirl Up!, Mountain Oyster Show, and American Academy of Equine Art. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Cowboys & Indians, The Cottage Journal, Southwest Art, Art of the West, Western Art Collector, Western Horseman, Eclectic Horseman, and Horses in Art.
