An Unforgettable Summer
Our kids camps at the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum are the perfect way to engage your child's creativity and curiosity this summer! With two sessions to choose from, your child can explore different aspects of western culture and history.
The first session, starting June 12th, is all about cowboy culture. Kids will learn about the history and traditions of cowboys, from cattle drives and rodeos to the tools of the trade and the skills needed to survive on the range. They'll also get to try their hand at roping, wrangling, and other cowboy activities.
The second session, starting August 7th, focuses on western art. Kids will get a chance to explore different types of western art, including traditional paintings and sculptures, with a chance to learn alongside the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Western Art Show and Sale. They'll learn about famous western artists and create their own works of art using a variety of materials and techniques.
Both sessions are led by experienced educators and Museum staff, and include hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, field trips, and plenty of opportunities for fun and learning. Sign up your child today for an unforgettable summer experience at the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum!
